Northshore Resort is located on Lake Oconee on the site of the old Carey
Station Depot. The Resort has utilized various types of train cars for
offices, accommodations, and comfort stations. Lake Oconee is Georgia's
cleanest lake boasting a variety of water recreational activities, spectacular
fishing, boating, canoeing and other water sports. The Oconee National Forest
is nearby with nature trails.

- September 1. After hour check-in available, call ahead for instructions.
Office hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. EST.
Reservations required for RV sites and rentals and may be made up to 30
days in advance through RPI's Central Reservations Office. 2-night minimum
stay. First night paid in advance on rentals. Cancellations must be made within
48 hours of check-in date.
From I-20, exit 130 midway between Atlanta and Augusta, take Hwy 44 (Exit 130)
south 5.3 miles to Carey Station Rd. Turn west at the Georgia Power Parks Ferry
sign at Carey Station Rd and go 5.1 miles to the Resort on the left.
