Breckenridge Lake is right at the centerpoint of Tennessee's three most dynamic cities: Knoxville (1982 World's Fair & University/Tennessee Volunteers), Nashville (Grand Ole Opry & Tennessee Titans) and Chattanooga with Lookout Mountain, Choo-Choo and Tennessee Aquarium. The Resort is on the Cumberland Plateau near the famous Cumberland County Playhouse. Lake mouth bass, bluegill, channel catfish, and crappie can be caught in the two lakes. Caloosa Wildlife Management area provides the finest hunting in Tennessee for deer, turkey, wild boar, and small game (license required). Elevation: 2,500 ft. Picnic shelter, clubhouse (TV, cards, puzzles, books for exchange) bathhouse, laundry. 30 amp only, no pull-thrus. Horseshoes, picnic shelter, and lots of rest and relaxation. Lake swimming and on-shore fishing (each requires pass - $5 per week per person). TN fishing license required. Reservations may be made up to 30 days in advance through RPI's Central Reservations Office. From I-40, take exit #322. Go south to US70. Cross US70, follow bypass (TN392) to US127, left on US127. At intersection US127/TN68, veer right. Stay on US127 approx 5 miles to Hillendale Rd (only right hand turn lane on US127). Go 1.9 miles to intersection of Hillendale Rd and Dunbar Rd. Turn left, then veer right immediately on Clint Lowe Rd. 2 miles to Breckenridge Rd, right onto Breckenridge Rd for .7 miles to the park on the right.

From the south, approx 13 miles from Pikeville to Daddy's Creek. As soon as you cross Daddy's Creek, turn left onto Vandever Rd. Just past Big Lick Presbyterian Church, turn right onto Clint Lowe Rd. Follow to Breckenridge Rd (left) for about .7 miles to park. at site and dump station
